Kathrine Lynch from Busy Happy Kids is a whizz at cooking up savey meal solutions for the household by shopping at PAK’nSAVE. You loved her 50 school lunches for under $100 challenge, so this time we asked Kathrine to put together some slow cooked meals that are savey on your wallet and your time!

When Kathrine shopped at PAK’nSAVE Mill Street, she shopped for everything she needed to create 20 slow cooked dinners. It came out to just $3.75 per serving or $15 per meal, if you’re feeding 4x adults, or 2x adults and 3x kids*.

Kathrine’s meal plans, shopping lists and cooking instructions are split out into weekly batches of 5x dinners, and you can view them all below. You can mix and match to what suits you, and prep 1 week, or do the whole lot!

Important

Each meal is designed to be shopped, prepared with a few staple items at home, then frozen immediately. Just defrost the night before you want to cook up the meal, then transfer from the fridge to your slow cooker. Remember to think about food safety with freezer times - we recommend you plan to cook the frozen meals within 1-2 months of freezing.
